DON

The Director of Nursing has 24-hour accountability and is responsible for the delivery of high-quality and cost-effective health care while achieving positive clinical outcomes, and patient/family and employee satisfaction.

DSD

The Director of Staff Development is responsible for planning, conducting, and coordinating educational programs for the development and improvement of necessary skills and knowledge for all Skilled Nursing/Subacute Unit nursing personnel.

MDS

The MDS nurse conduct, collect data that contributes to the development and completion of the resident assessment in accordance with the federal, state, and local laws, guidelines, and regulations governing the facility.

icp

The Infection Control Preventionist assumes the responsibility for the Infection Control Program of 
the facility and provides infection control program related education.

rn

The RN is responsible for the overall supervision of nursing care in the subacute unit in the long-term facility during their shift. Responsible and accountable for the provision of direct, age-specific, resident care to those assigned to their care for each established shift.

LVN

The LVN responsibilities include total care for chronically ill and technologically dependent residents, administration of medications, performance of treatments, provision of resident/family education as directed, and maintenance of a record of the care provided.

CNA

The Certified Nurse Assistants provide each resident with routine daily nursing care, compassion, and respect. This care also follows the resident’s assessment plan and current federal, state, and local standards and regulations.
