Achieving Goals Thru Knowledge Power

Classes and Training Programs offered provides BRN continuing education units (CEU). The courses are designed to assist nurses and other health care professionals  in managing and handling of long term care patients. An interactive group discussion will provide the attendees opportunity to practice these skills learned during training classes. The topic will be delivered in didactic lecture format. Attendees will be given the opportunity to ask questions following the lecture. At the conclusion of the course, attendees will have gained knowledge on any of the educational offerings and translate these into practical management of patients.

ADULT SUB ACUTE CERTIFICATION PROGRAM

This is a 32-hour adult subacute certification program. This includes ventilator training, review of the types patients and how to manage then in the subacute unit. Includes actual return demonstration and training. Provided by Master's prepared RN educators and respiratory therapists that have been in the industry for the last 20 years. Includes information on the new Phase 2 regulations.

QAPI PROGRAM: KNOWING WHAT TO DO IN LTC

This class involves training Long Term Care Interdisciplinary Team on how to conduct QAPI assessment and how to maintain, sustain and improve process. Includes information on Phase 2 and Phase 3 requirements. At the end of the class, the attendees will be able to complete their departmental quality assurance and performance improvement studies as well as identify adverse events and required monitoring and be able to perform root cause analysis and failure mode effect and criticality analysis.

This class offers basic training for MDS 3.0 Version beginning October 1, 2019. The new scoring and rating scale is discussed as well as action items. The class will also touch on the new payment model of PDPM that replaced RUG based scoring. The class will be good for licensed nurses who is new to MDS, MDS Cordinators, DONs with intermediate or advanced knowledge of MDS, NHA and Rehab Therapist.

CANCELLATION POLICY

If cancellation is made up to five business days before the course, your registration fee will be refunded less a $10.00 enrollment charge. If cancellation is received in less than five business days before the course, you may receive a credit memo for another course of equal value. All requests for cancellation and/or credit memo must be made in writing. If a course cannot be held for any reasons beyond the control of Synergy Healthcare Resources & Solutions Group (e.g natural disaster), the course will be rescheduled; registrants will get free admission to the rescheduled course but no refund. Synergy Healthcare Resources & Solutions Group reserves the right to make program changes when necessary or to cancel any course based on enrollment. Upon cancellation of a course by Synergy Healthcare Resources & Solutions Group, registrants will receive a full refund.
