The class is 8 hour informative training to provide Infection Control Preventionist in Long Term Care Setting the knowledge on how to run an effective antimicrobial stewardship program based on the new Phase 3 guidelines. Training agenda includes: Scope of Infection Control, Infection Control Committee Agenda, Infection Control Preventionist Job Functions, Infection Control Rounds, Antibiotics Use & Antibiograms, Antimicrobial Tracking and Surveillance, Types of Infections & Antibiotics, Guide in Infection Control Reports.
